Antonio Ammendolia was born in Catanzaro on December 22, 1961. He earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Reggio Calabria on June 23, 1987, with a grade of 107/110. He completed a Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Second Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Naples on July 7, 1992, with a grade of 70/70 cum laude. He also obtained a Specialization in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine from the University of Reggio Calabria on July 24, 1997, with a grade of 70/70 cum laude. In 2004, he completed a five-year “Master in Orthopedic Surgery” at the universities of Rome “La Sapienza,” Perugia, Milan, Modena, and Naples "Federico II."
